Life of Pi

Life of Pi - Yann Martel Well, I think most people wonder what this book is actually about, and their curiosity brings them to open this book. It's actually pretty good-- despite the background information given in the first 100 pages.. This story wasn't very enjoyable either because out of all people, my French teacher had to spoil the shocker ending. The main character, Piscine (named 'swimming pool'), is stranded on a boat alone with a Royal Bengal tiger-- and of course, he's scared out of his wits. This whole book is basically about survival. That one word just sums the whole thing up.Well, if there's any reason to read this book, it would be the ending. Going to watch the movie soon.
