The Ask and the Answer (Chaos Walking)

The Ask and the Answer - Patrick Ness Patrick Ness. Why did you do this to me.This book was absolutely positively 100% freaking AMAZING. Wow. Wow. Wow. I cannot say enough wow's okay.Todd. Viola. Todd and Viola. Go away Lee no one likes you.Anyways, a lot of you guys who've read my review for book 1, The Knife of Never Letting Go, know that I LOVED LOVED LOVED it. And I LOVE LOVE LOVE this series. Even if I'm not even on book 3 yet. LOL. I LOVE IT.So, Todd. In book 1, he was all about the f-bomb, telling people to shut up-- the mean kid. Yeah. The amount of character development was amazing. (Patrick Ness does a really good job of character development.) Todd is so freaking fabulous I'm dying. He seems like a totally different person in this book, yet he's the same person I knew. If that makes sense. I mean, he even talks differently.Anyways, thank the lord- there are two point of views in this book. Yep, Todd and Viola. FABULOUS. If Viola didn't have a role I would die. What I like about this is that each character has their own voice so I know exactly who's talking and when.I could NOT put this down. Since I was reading early in the morning at 5:30 , I ended up having to stop at 6:30 to 'prepare' for school and such. One day I'll be an old lady and read all I want. So I had to put it down. Which was so sad. I was like:6:00- Well. That passed by fast. 30 more minutes. D:6:15- NO IT'S PASSING BY TOO FAST6:17- WHY6:25- NOOOOO 5 MORE MINUTES?!6:30- Let me finish this chapter..6:34- Oh.. well... umm...6:35- *Forcing myself to put it down*There were these really sad dramatic moments that already made me tear up by itself but then my mom HAD to put some really sad music in the background- *inhales* *exhales* so yeah. I cried. Unashamed. The good thing is, little traces of romance are starting to appear! That's fantabulous. I'm totally looking forward to more of it in book 3.When I finished this book I was just staring at that last word. And I turned the page. And I kept turning. "No. There must be an epilogue.." but no. Thank GOD I have the last book. AHHH. This series is so good. Not only the author's way of writing but also the plot. Definitely a recommendation.
