This book. Was freaking amazing. I loved it! I totally loved the idea of draki and everything. (I love fire-breathers.) It's been a while since I've read a good Fantasy. Firelight is definitely a book in the Modern Fantasy genre.So. Like. Literally, this second, I just found out that this is a trilogy. omg. Ohmygoodness. Ohmagawww. I must get my hands on books 2 and 3.Alright. So, the main character, Jacinda, is a draki( descendant of dragons.) She's really rare- she can breathe fire. Her talent is different from all the other draki in her group, and it's appreciated and looked up to.When her mother takes her and brings her somewhere far far away, her life is miserable, but her mom just wants the best for her. And then she goes to school, and sees him. Will. (I love that name because of Cassie Clare's Infernal Devices) He was once the hunter that spared her life before, and then she finds out they go to the same high school?! Coincidental, I'll say. Yeah, and then romance starts to bloom, and etc, etc. I approve of the amount of romance.Okay, so one thing. The main character is awesome and everything, but at points you kind of.. just.. get annoyed at her. I love her hair. LOL.I really like dragons though. I swear I LOVED them ever since I've read Jessica Day George's Dragon Slippers. They're cool~Anyways, I'm really looking forward to reading the second and third book. The suspense is crazy. The climax just makes you crazily insane. I finished this book this morning in about 4 hours. One sitting. IT WAS THAT GOOD. There were some really sad parts that would make you cry if there was only the right dramatic music. Yeah, music matters.Honestly, that's all I really have to say. HAHA, I know. Ridiculously short review. That's all!
